Brookshire Inn & Golf Club

The first thing I noticed was the great scenery of the course. Grass was lush, sand was bright and water in just the right places. The staff was friendly and once on the course it was a great combination of difficulty levels. Well maintained and we'll worth the money.

I really enjoyed playing this course but was slowed on the 10th hole for about 5 minutes by someone that decided the green couldn't wait to be mowed. If mowing the greens is that much of a priority, do it before you open. Don't slow your customers down by doing it in the middle of their round.

Overall, it was a very nice course and I will return. I just wish the gentleman would have moved off of the green until I was done with that hole. Not a big deal but it was part of the experience.

The course is relatively short but laid out nicely, focusing primarily on position off the tee and putting a premium on accuracy for your short to middle irons into protected smaller greens. There is a fair amount of water around the course that comes into play and it is nicely bunkered but the bunkers could a little better sand mix. The front moves smoothly most of the time but the tighter back nine sometimes gets a little backed up.
They have a beverage cart on the course and a very nice, beautifully landscaped nineteenth hole along with good food for after round beverages or dining. They also have very nice live entertainment on some afternoons.
One down side is that they don't have a driving range but overall it is a very good value.

The course was in great condition. Greens were rolling nicely with few unfixed ball marks. Staff was very friendly. Only complaint was that 2 slow groups held up the entire course. By the time we got to hole 17 there were 3 groups on the tee box.

Brookshire has a very nice mix of new type course design on the front nine and old country club feel on the inward nine. Shot placement is important on both nines with working the ball both ways required to score well. Overall a great value. Nice track.

Course was in excellent shape. Really like the modern layout of the new nine. Fair and playable. The old nine is very pleasant with a lot of mature trees and shrubbery. The clubhouse/restaurant has very good food. The tiki bar and deck make for a real fun and festive atmosphere.

I placed a tee time at 11:54am at brookshire Inn golf course. Upon arrival I went to the first hole to find that they have overbooked my tee time with others and we're not to be paired up as well. I let the other overbooked golfers go ahead of me to be polite. Upon half way through the 7th whole. I noticed the people that I let pass where waiting for the 8th hole to open. Upon inspection and talking to them, the 8th whole had a group of 4-5 people on it. Another group of 4 people behind them. Then another 2 people behind them. Then they had me waiting at the very end. So a total of about 10 people waiting for 1 hole. I waited 25 minutes to see if things would clear which it did not. I found this unaceptable considering I would have to wait an enormous amount of time in order to finish all 18 holes. I left and let the front desk man now and inquired about receiving a rain check for the holes I did not finish. He "claimed" he could not nor could he refund my money. Or accommodate me in any way. this was a bad experience and my first time playing there. I got out of work at 7 in the morning and only slept 3 hours in order to come to this tee time.

Lovely Course very well kept. A little bit of everything. Could easily have enjoyed walking it.

Nice flow for the course itself, other people need to learn golf rules lots swearing and threats made over a cell phone and lawyer... the pair we teamed with super nice and enjoyable to play with. Great experience

There are some great tough shots on the front 9. It really makes you disciplined to not hit your driver off every tee.

The back 9 has a lot of cottonwood trees. It's best to play with a yellow ball. Also on the back 9, your game is challenged to hit straight. Wild shots will most likely result in lost balls. Whereas on the front, a hook or slice can still leave you with a good look to the green absent a giant tree in front of you.

Greens were very nice. We were first tee time, so pace was great. Front nine is very nice.

Well kept, neatly trimmed, beautiful views, and a bit tricky. There are quite a few holes with a trick to them that you wouldn't know unless you've played there before. Just gives you another reason to come back to this pretty course again tho. Putting is very difficult here.

Booked a 7:10 am tee time and no one showed up in the clubhouse until after 8am. Even their own website had early times, but the person showed up at 8 had no idea they even offered earlier times. Sunrise was 6:30 am so there is plenty of daylight available. Very unhappy overall

I really liked the course. My experience was not as wonderful because I was stuck behind inconsiderate golfers.

My mife and I played this course. Two different styles of courses front and back. The front is more of a links course. Two hole were kinda confusing to play with blind shots. The back is shorter then the front, the back is narrow and the greens was in great shape. My wife enjoyed the back because of the length. Very well kept course. The restaurant has excellent food.

The front desk worker, an older man with white hair and glasses, was very rude to me and the couple in front of me (who had the same coupon I did) about the use of our coupons. The couple in front of me were middle-aged and very friendly. They had said how good of a deal the coupon was and the man said "Yeah, for you", inferring how it wasn't a good deal for the course. To me he was quite grumpy and said "I'm not even going to say anything" when I handed him my coupon printout. If a golf course doesn't want to use coupons, then don't put them online. It's not a customer's fault that we used the coupon they posted. I will definitely not be back.

Course has a different layout to it. Lots of sand traps and good water holes. Good Course for the value

I would suggest to people not to go on Friday mornings. We were informed that's when they roll the greens which made them lighting quick. Beside that nice course even though the front and back are way different from each other..

GIven horrible winter, course was in Excellent condition, especially the greens.
