Great value for the money. friendly staff and nice course layout. Greens are in great shape this year. Pace of play was good.

Went golfing with my father was a great time course was well kept and a decent price for 18 greens were a little stiff but made it for a more interesting round. Will be back.

Probably the worst course I've ever played.
Washboard fairways. Mushy ground(built on old Peat bog). Crappy practice areas. NO food. Poor beverage service. And a long drive for a miserable experience.

My wife and I played 9 on a nice Sunday afternoon last summer. We constantly had to wait atleast 10 minutes or more to tee off at each hole. We almost walked off after 6 holes. Course was ok..very bumpy ride down fairways. We expressed frustration to manager after and asked where ranger was. He didnt apologize or try to throw us a bone. He just said..Yeah I sent him home early today and we asked a slow foursome not to come back. Dont waste your valuable time playing this hack course, I sure wont be.

From what I hear, the previous owner Passed away recently, R.I.P. to him. But the course is severely overpriced now, the course has been great in the past because although it’s never been kept in good shape it’s been extremely affordable. I used to play this course weekly because of the value. Now I can’t say that I will go back this season because it is not worth anything near 50 dollars to play.

Course is in decent shape. Has a few short par 4's but a decent course that usually allows for quicker play.

This course is underrated in my opinion. I enjoy the layout of it, I feel it offers a nice variety of tees and can be challenging. A few risk/reward holes and these can lead to some really great rounds. A few holes have some maintenance issues, some very bumpy fairways and some long grass but for the money its completely acceptable. I personally think the fee is below what it should be. Clubhouse is average, staff has always been really nice and accommodating. The rangers come and chat and give you tips, more of a helper role than policing. I have never had an issue with pace, some typical 'playing on the wrong fairway' on #2 and #3 by the errant hitters but after the 3rd you are fine.

It has been awhile since I played Viking Meadows. I am back in Minnesota for a week and decided to play with the price I got on Golf Now. I was very pleasantly surprised. Course was in very good shape..the fairways needed mowing.. The greens were hard but rolled very nice.

I have not played here in years. with this deal it was fun. Very good value.

Fairway had long grass. All most being in the rough. That was not fun.

My fellows Asian golfers, do not go donates your money on this golf course. Asian are not welcome to play at Vikings meadows, they treated Asian badly. Their customer services are horrible, they running out of carts and they came to kick us out of the course accused us that we have played more than five hours. Which was not true, we only played for 4 hours and half. The day was busy right from tee box 1, the day pretty much head & tail. Bad experienced, even if they offer a free pass with a red carpet I will not go AGAIN#

They didn't have enough carts so we had to wait, but we did want to push our tee time back, and they were very accommodating.

Overall nice course, good shape, challenging greens. Not sure why but 1st tee box was STACKED @ 9am. We were 4th in line to tee off and by the time we did hit the tee box, there were another 5 stacked behind us. Hurry up and wait the entire front 9. Not sure why they weren't starting some off 10. Back 9 the pace picked up, I think most only played the front 9. Fix the scheduling and I'd give it claims she to a 4 stars

Not often is everything at a golf course perfect. I didn't have any food so I can't rate that. The Staff and Bev Cart were superb, so many times staff at a golf course are mundane, not these people! The course was in perfect shape. I will be back!
