Tough but Fair
If you keep in the fairway you will love this course. If you miss the fairway you better use a wedge. Greens are firm and fast. Turf is in excellent condition. You will not regret playing at Shiloh Springs.
The course was in great shape
The course was in great shape. Not too busy for a Saturday. Staff member were great.
Overall Good Experience!
Good lay out, good pace, good course, will definitely return soon.
Great front nine
Haven't played this course for 20 years or so. The front nine was really good and layed out well.
Hole 11 is fun as well as a couple others....but only a couple.
For the most part your going back and forth on the back nine. Still worth the $$ though...if you live in Platte county or close.
Might be disappointed if you had to drive across town.
Good Vaule
Shiloh offers a good course for the money. The clubhouse is nice, the folks are friendly and the beverages are always cold. There are adjacent holes that you have to be aware of groups heading your way may have an errant shot that may head in your direction but it is not bad. Pace of play was fine for a weekend on a public course.
Absolute Blast!!
I played here yesterday with my brother and buddy. They chose Shiloh based on my recommendation. This is one of weirdest course layouts, but that is what makes it so much fun!! The back to back par 3's are just awesome and fairly challenging. Many of the holes have some of the craziest, although playable dog legs. Also the marshalls and employees do a great job with pace of play. On the back 9 we could count 25 carts that we could see, but somehow we were perfectly spaced out. the course condition was not the best that I have seen, but it was still pretty good. My brother and friend also had a blast and they can't wait to come back!!
Fantastic course
Hands down the best course in the area for the money. Staff are always very friendly. Pride in course condition is taken by maintenance staff- fairways are outstanding! Some of the greens had discolored spots, but they all rolled true. All around great experience.
Just plain nice
Can't think of a single negative from playing here this week. Fairway zoysia is coming nice, greens are hard, fast and fair. Staff are super friendly. Course layout is open but challenging in spots. Playing as a twosome is possible during the week. Pace of play was right at 4 hours. Nice.
Nice course
Great value for the money. Played my best round in a couple of years. Some of the greens have some bare, but you can tell they are being addressed. Quickly becoming one of my favorite courses.
Nice Course, Good Value
We have played Shiloh several times before. The greens had just been punched so we can't rate the greens. Course was in good shape for Spring golf. The rough was perhaps a little long and it had rained the previous day so there was a bit of pooling in the bunkers. The staff is very friendly and courteous. The tee sheet was full but the pace of play was quite good.
Needs help
Followed a scramble but was told I could go off when they finished if early. They did but three employees rushed to the tee box even knowing I was there waiting as a single to tee off. I had to follow them around until another single (member) caught me on the 6th. He joined up with me on my invitation. We were finally allowed to play through on #11. As for the course , A number of dead spots throughout the course . #2 tee box was dirt. Lots of ground under "disrepair". I played here based on other reviews and they must be seeing something I don't. Traveling through on my way west this was a bit out of the way and expected much better. Used Hot Deals Reward which I feel were wasted here. At least the gentleman I played with was pleasant.
Shiloh
Great little course for the value. I play here often as my father in law has a membership. Pace of play is usually pretty good. Layout is a little funky as some holes interfere with others. Tight course in places. Not terribly challenging unless it's a windy day and then you'll be tested. Overall a nice course with courteous staff. Close parking with easy access to driving range and putting greens.
Good Golf Day
It was a warm early spring day. The course is in decent condition as winter ends. The golf was
like the conditions of the house. However, it was a great day to play.
Nice course layout
First time I've played this course. Great staff, very friendly and helpful. The course layout is good and well marked so it was very easy to navigate.
Tee boxes, fairways and greens were all in great shape.
This was not an easy course at all but is well marked which makes it much easier to judge distances for lay-ups.
Overall not bad - I played an 86 and normally play 80-82 so not bad for fist time playing the course.
Enjoyed it and will definitely play it again and again.
In great shape, staff very nice
I'm a member at Cardinal Hill in Liberty could not play because of a tournament so I drove up to this course, glad I did. This course is in much better shape than Cardinal Hill, a few spots on the greens but other than that it was great!
