First Time
Some of the greens had damage from the heat. Some watergrass and crabgrass in fairways. I was a first time player, wasn't put with anyone, had to figure out where the tee boxes were. Brake on the cart wouldn't always set. When wasn't in the watergrass, the fairways were nice, greens would hold. I wish I would have played with someone with course knowledge because some are blind holes and I would have to go up to the green to figure out where it was.
Great value course
I enjoy the layout of this course, and they have it in good condition. Pace of play was incredibly slow for the front 9, thankfully a few groups must have quit at 9 because the back went much quicker. Took 2 hours and 40 min for the front 9.
Shiloh so so
Hot day with lots of bugs on course and no water! First impression was so so. A few holes under construction it seemed. WIll give it another shot in a year or so.
Great value
Found a great deal and decided it was worth the 25 minute drive to give it a go. This course is a gem! Everything went off like clock work from the time we arrived to the end of the second round ( a re-play is only $11, what a deal). Played 36 holes with a break for lunch. Jonathan and Dan in the pro shop could not have been more accommodating. The course was challenging in that off the tee you had to just take what many of the holes gave you..or else. It is a course that benefits you greatly having played it before...and that is just one of the many reasons we WILL be back.
UPDATE: Went back again a week later and want to confirm our initial review. REALLY hot and one time the staff came out and GAVE us ice cream bars and a little later they came by offering us cool towels - AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!
Nice track
This was a perfect pic for me...I got off the plane and was 20 min from playing. Course is very challenging and green r pretty quick but course is very fair.
CINCO CELEBRATION
I probably would have played better, without the Cinco de Mayo Tequila shot, that my nephew had to have!
But, it probably wouldn't have been as FUN!
Perfect course, for us to play! I literally, got off a plane from Baltimore and was Teeing it up 20 minutes later. "I"LL BE BACK!" (To quote that other ARNOLD)

Northland treasure
Very nice course for the price ,greens are challenging ,fairways are narrow ,different elevation from tee to green ...all-around beautiful course
Shiloh Springs Golf February 2016
Although very early in the season, I purchased a green fee on a Saturday to play golf in February. The greens are brown, don't roll true, and are not very exciting to putt. The staff was very grumpy and seemed upset with life itself. I will take my golf money and spend it on a course closer to the city.
great course
long drive from independence, but worth it. enjoyable day
Shiloh Springs
Very challenging.
I think I've finally found a home course.
Shiloh
This was the first time I had played this course. It was very challenging. I played by myself but playing with someone who had played it before would have saved me some strokes. It was enjoyable and I will play it again next time I am north of the River.
Worth the drive
As a person who lives in the SE corner of the KC area (Lee's Summit), driving to the NW corner seemed a long way to go. Simply put, I'll gladly make the drive again. Unlike many coureses that have chosen to simply not mow the rough (and use the "making the course more challenging" excuse!!!), there was no such issue at Shiloh - the course was well taken care of and no apparent excuses for simply not mowing.
Nice course
I use to play this course almost everyday in high school (golf team). Never seen it in bad shape, can be dangerous on some holes with touching fairways. Has some narrow fairways but for the most part pretty open. Love the layout on some of the holes.
Course and staffing
I thought it was nice they brought a cart out to my vehicle when I pulled in the staff was completely professional the greens were very well kept up I would highly recommend this course to my friends thank you gary
Booked on Golf Now and felt it was a great value
The staff was friendly and easy to talk to. Started on time. Pace of play was a little slow. Course was in great condition.
Wide open fun
This course was wide-open not many trees plenty of room. Some short par fours and reachable par fives with good drives. The grass was in decent condition a few bare spots here and there. Need a good mixture of shots. It would definitely be a benefit to have some course knowledge. This was my first time playing I am sure I will score better on several holes next time.
Overall it was a fun day.
Decent layout
This is a solid fun course to play. My only dislike is there are a few blind tee shots. Some elevation changes keep it interesting.
Holiday golf.
The pace was slow, they allowed twosomes, and it was cart path only, so a lot of walking and waiting. Course conditions were perfect, except for the greens, bumpy and very slow......We always love playing here. In fact I was very close to a hole in one!
Good value, good challenge
Course was in good condition. Challenging, but with enough opportunities to score well if accurate off the tee
Need to play several times
This is a course you need to play several times before you understand it. There are quite a few holes that are somewhat gimmicky and I would play totally different. Number 10 and 11 are perfect examples. Tee shots must be placed properly. On another hole, there is a large tree right in the middle of the fairway. Who puts a large tree right in the middle of the fairway. It punished me by having a perfectly straight tee shot. Hit the trunk and could not find the ball. Ugh.Greens were highly inconsistent. Some blazing fast, some extraordinarily slow. Not sure if is was grain or just not able to mow properly. There were multiple holes that we had to wait as people were playing out of the wrong fairway. All in all, I would like to play again just to use knowledge learned from first time playing the course.
