Cardinal at Diamondhead Country Club
About
The 18-hole Cardinal at Diamondhead Country Club, half of a 36-hole layout on the property, is a semi-private course that opened in 1979.
Designed by Earl Stone, the golf course measures 6,831 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 132 and a 72.7 USGA rating. The course features four sets of tees for different skill levels.
The major challenges for both golf courses are their tree-lined fairways. The Cardinal Course is wooded and was built on gently rolling terrain. It has no parallel fairways and extra-long sand bunkers.

Nice Course
Well maintained; greens very firm and fast; fairways and tee boxes in good shape.
Best course around for the value and quality
Excellent course and practice facility. Staff was super friendly.
Great Experience
My husband and I really enjoyed playing golf at this course. Purchasing our teatime was fairly easy. When we arrived at the course, everyone was extremely nice and helpful. The course was in great condition, and there were very few players on a beautiful day. The course is very nice and open with some really unique and challenging parts. We would highly recommend Diamondhead Golf Country Club.
Incredible back 9
Love playing this course. Has some really neat holes. The tips tee boxes need to be cleaned up a bit and sand needs to be added in some bunkers but other than that, it’s looking great.
Great course
Although tight in some Fairways, the course was in great condition and an enjoyable experience. Would definitely recommend the Cardinal course.
Fun course
I looked playing the Pine course. Play did get a little slow after we caught up to several 5 man groups.
mos 2nd round
super friendly staff course in good shape depending on which tees you pick challenge increases
mosround
super friendly staff greens fast and true based on tee selection as challenging or playable for all
Lovely Track
Greens were immaculate, fairways as nice as you could hope for this time of year. Staff all friendly.
Played this course as part of a spring break getaway the Biloxi, MS area.
Solid course. A bit soggy after some rains, but overall in good shape.
CONDITIONS: It rained pretty good days before and the course was soggy, particularly around the greens. Greens and bunkers were in good shape.
VALUE: After playing other courses in the area, I’m going to say “overpriced.” I did not feel this was nearly as good of a value as other courses in the Biloxi region.
LAYOUT: The front 9 plays thru housing. There are plenty of good holes, but nothing memorable. The back 9 get away from some of the housing and plays out in the woods a bit more. Holes #12 and #15 are fun challenges.
FRIENDLINESS: They got me paid and out on the course. The starter was very helpful on talking me thru the first couple of holes.
PACE: Played as a single, behind another single, behind a 4 some. Waited on almost every tee box, but somehow got done in just under 4 hours.
DIFFICULTY: If you’re spraying your driver, this course will not be any fun. But if you can keep the ball in front of you this course is scoreable.
Great course
Beautiful layout and challenging green- unfortunately the we played rained night b4 and was cart path only- but we still had a great time
Two nice courses
The Pine Course has a challenging layout but playing after a rain is not advised. Tee boxes need some work.
No beverage cart except on weekends. Still a good value.
