Nice track
Pembroke Pines is a nice track and worth the value. A couple of holes on the front were a bit soggy but the rest of the course was dry. Only thing that was bothersome was when they mow the mowers leave large clumps of grass all over the fairway. Greens were nice, not super fast, but fast enough where thy were enjoyable. I like the back better than the front. Pace of play was quick, I think we got 18 in 3 1/2 hours, but it was mid-week early morning.
Basic public course
There were two distinctly different nines. Front nine was basic back and forth holes with modest elevation changes and relatively flat greens. We had to do cart path only as course was still soft. Grass was thick and wet making clean contact more difficult. Back nine was more interesting with elevation changes, distinct fairways, undulating greens and better fairway grass. Greens were relatively smooth and very true. Decent value for a public facility.
Great course.. need new rental clubs
Everything was great at the course! However the rental clubs for $20 were overpriced compared for the quality.
Pembroke Pines Is The Name
It's a challenge for anyone. Pick the right tees for you. The front side is the original nine and is more wide open and a little more forgiving. The back side is a more strategic, shot making nine. The greens on the back side have much more undulations than the front. Plenty of golf course for any level player. Great place, easy to get to. I have played here several times and enjoyed all the rounds.
Back 9 Beautiful
Started on the back 9 today and with all the rain it was cart path only, which was fine. Back 9 is in beautiful condition, hopefully in the future they will update the front 9. Extremely friendly staff
Great round!
Love Pembroke Pines. Awesome course, good variety and mix of holes. Fairly open and forgiving. Well kept and great conditions.
Nice layout bad greens
The greens were in rough shape. The ball bounced across the greens rather than rolling. Rest of the course was in fair condition for this time of year.
Greens were just Aerated and were in very bad shape.
Just simply way over priced
First time here this year, they were charging 55 dollars for 9 holes, cart path only and aerated greens. Come back with a discount and still paid 60 and had no driving range and cart path only. Just simply over priced, go play a nice course for the same price if not cheaper. Just way more options out there
The fog
Played through the fog for 6 holes and everything was I was told . Good day with good friends
Aerated greens
I’ve been playing golf for 3 years and am specifically writing this, my first review because I am annoyed to have paid 71 dollars for a course with aerated greens. Put the notification on GolfNow! Course needs to be watered, most of the landing areas for guys that hit 260-270 off the tee are hard pan dirt, rough burnt out everywhere. For a weekday afternoon in the fall with aerated greens appropriate rate would be 35
Enjoyable course.
Went out at 650 played 18. Course is great makes you use all your clubs. I wish that their signs had better indicators of hazards because there was 2 or 3 holes with unmarked hazards that I lost balls in. Besides that I loved the layout and the area. You feel pretty enclosed it’s different and cool.
