Gone down hill
We last played this course around 10 years ago. I'm not sure when it went downhill but this is not the course I remembered. The fairways were thin, the lateral edges of the fairways quickly deteriorated to sparse grass coverage. And the greens were in very mediocre shape, surprising given the significant amount of moisture that St. George has received this last month. The only positive aspect of the day was the pace of play which was around 3 1/2 hours for 18 holes. Overall, a significant disappointment. Will probably not play here again. I'm not sure how anyone could consider this a country club.
Nice course great value
Good fun course enjoyed playing nice weather st George has lot to offer good condition fast greens live to play on this course Bloomington country club very good facilty
Bloomington
It was great for the price, but for a Country Club it's below average. I would play it again for what I paid but would not pay their normal rates. It was a good value and the people were very nice.
BLOOMINGTON CC 4/21/2015
FUN ROUND...CHALENGING BUT NOT PUNISHING! WE WERE PAIRED WITH AN ENJOYABLE COUPLE. THE COURSE WAS IN FAIR SHAPE BUT A NICE COURSE FOR THE PRICE...WOULD DEFINITELY PLAY AGAIN!
Smooth and fast greens
Very fast pace of play. We played as a twosome and finished in less than 3-1/2 hours. Smooth fast greens. Fairways were OK but might be better later in the summer.
Average course
Nothing really special but still lots of fun. When in the rough the grass is sparse so you are usually hitting out if dirt even though grass is there it's just real patchy. Greens putt fine but are hard so your ball doesn't stick. The course overall is average, nothing spectacular but still fun. I've been several times because golf now offers a good rate.
The course is in very good shape.
We found the course on Golf Now, and really enjoyed our day. We were called to the T-Box early, which is always a good thing. We played 18 holes in 3 1/2 hrs. The wind played a big part in our success but none the less, we had a good time.
April 2/15
This course was in excellent shape for the time of year. The staff were very polite and accommodating.
Great course for the money
My wife and I played this course the other day and for the money it cannot be beat. The greens were large and ran true. Fairly easy course with enough challenge to make you think of risk reward shots. Would play again for sure.
Not a Country Club
Having a discount round( $25.00) the game was good value for the money. Hard greens and fairways drying out. Course allowing groups of 5 to play. Not an upscale course and conditions showed. Fairly straight course with slight doglegs on some holes. Could be nicer with some maintenance & water.
Great mountain view golf experience
Got a great deal thru Golfnow on this lovely country club course. Staff was friendly and helpful and we played our 18 in under 4 hours. Could walk this course, but we had carts. Some great mountain views in this city near Zion Natl. Park.
Great value, friendly staff, excellent greens
You can't even play the public courses for this low price this time of year; it's a great value. In St. George, the rates go way up from October through April, so jump on this if you want to play a nice course with nice practice facilities. The greens are true, and it's not so demanding that you won't enjoy it, yet subtly challenging. The fairways and greens were in great shape (can't expect much for the rough this time of year.) We had a foursome and finished in 3 hours and 20 minutes. If you're a walker, it's a good walking course, too!
Pleasant golf experience
The course was well maintained with very nice greens and a good pace of play. It is a great value at the Golf Now price.
.Nice Day
Very enjoyable day. We joined 2 others on the back nine and had a great time.
Excellent greens.
Fun course for most. Fairly flat layout. Good views on a number of holes. Friendly people.
Unbelievable value
Very nice course, and in great shape. Pleasant design and layout, with nice views of the red rocks. Older course built in the early 70s and fairly easy to score on, but enjoyable to play too. The price here on Golf Now is quite the bargain for the total experience.
Flat course for this area.
Course is pretty much flat with no special features. Well maintained and courteous staff.
This course is a confident builder
Very straightforward course. Hit it straight and you'll be putting for birdie every time.
An easier course in the area.
The course is a forgiving one. Usually lots of space between fairways. the course was busy but only a little bit of waiting once you got past the 2nd hole. There is no reason not to recommend this course except that there are so many phenomenal courses in St. George and Mesquite.
nice mix of challenges
A pleasant old school course, flat with a good mix of dog legs, water and sand. Open course for the most part, when I played the bermuda rough was dormant, can imagine it will be quite a bit more difficult in spring - fall. Great food at the turn, kiosk, and clubhouse resturant looks appealing.
