108 Resort Golf Course
Played On 07/01/2015Great Feeling
Something about playing this course I love. It has a certain feeling. Not the best manicured course, but it's overlooked when playing this course.
Highly recommend trying it out if your in the area.
The Cove Club

Ocean course is a beautiful experience that I cannot wait to go back and playing again.
The clubhouse and property is amazing. It feels like everything there is absolutely perfect.
Play twilight and save some money, and less heat!
A must
Chilliwack Golf Club
Played On 06/30/2015Confused, Hear me out!
I've never really been able to figure out what the presumed hype is about CGC or why the dedication to the property from locals. I've played here several times and from what I can see it's a baby boomer crowd that got involved a while ago and has not left. The course itself I find very boring. Not a lot of character and there is no real punishment for hitting a bad shots, it's just in the next fairway and you probably still have a good shot at the green. Hole after hole seem very similar. Flat and slight dog leg.
Club house, pro shop and every other building on the property are very old, run down and have moth balls type feel to them. Feels like walking into a Royal Canadian Legion.
Driving range is average at best.
Wind is present a lot of the time which becomes annoying.
NOW, what I can't figure out for the life of me is their higher price tag for what this course is and offers. I have no problem paying hundred on a green fee but for similar price I can go play any of the Whistler courses, Northview, Furry Creek and many others. $90+ the other day with cart. I do not think this course should be over $59 with cart. This is comparing the overall course experience with those in the area (Sandpiper, The Falls, even Cultus. These all have tremendous Views, Character and give you an alive feeling and energy when on their properties)
I think that if they have the membership money to pay for upgrades they need to do it fast because I don't believe it's an attractive facility for younger adults looking to get memberships, do business, entertain and so on. This course will fail as baby boomers die off unless some major changes are made to the property.
Having said all that, you can review any of my other reviews, they are 99% positive and upbeat. I've lived in Chilliwack for 18 years and just can't figure this one out. Sorry guys.
Sandpiper Golf Club

Great spot to play and worth the drive. Bring along the River with the back drops of mountains makes this a feel good day out on the property.
Pace of play has always been good there, holes have Character, and the price is bang on.
Rowena's is on the property which is a great spot for fine dining after your round. You can even make a night of it in their cabins!
Only thing missing is a driving range, other than that, it's a place I frequently enjoy.
Cultus Lake Golf Club
Played On 06/23/2015Best All Round in Chilliwack
Even with Par being 63, CLGC has everything you need in Beautiful BC style. The best covered, heated driving range around, cozy club house with great food, friendly staff and of course a well maintained Golf Course. The price is very hard to beat and this family owed and operated business is a perfect place to not only get your practice in, but tournaments and even Christmas parties. I've Golfed around the world and played some of the most impressive properties. The feel you get at CLGC is a welcoming, clean and classy vibe that stays with you. Priced right, it's hard to beat. Patio drinks in the summer and coffee by the fire place in winter. Its just a great place to be. Keep up the great job Jeff and Staff!
Royalwood Golf Club
Played On 06/22/2015Windy and Boring
The course is very much similar on this flat farming area. The course is not overly challenging as you can miss one fairway and still be fine on another.
Wind can be an issue here and it often picks up in the afternoon.
Lots of people walking on course which can lead to pace of play issues.
A hit with baby boomers, nothing specials. Other course in area to choose over Royalwood.
Fairmont Chateau Whistler Golf Club
Played On 06/22/2015BC Flavor
Chateau has been one of my favourite courses since I was a teenage. I've always enjoyed a natural wild golf course as apposite to fake over manicured courses. Set in one of the most beautiful places in the world, Chateau is more than a golf course. It's a breath of fresh air, self relfective and inspiring experience. Club house is nothing special, wish they had more amenaties when it comes to change rooms, showers, etc. Highly recommended
The Falls Golf Club

Amazing views and course layout. Unique to itself, It blows everyone who plays it away. Make it hard to play those boring flat, farmers fields in Chilliwack again.
I do not like the slow play at the course which they still haven't figured out. Club house and pro shop are brutal, no driving range and poor anything practice facility.
Hopefully with new ownership they put some money into the course and facilities and bring it back to what it once was when I was a member there.
Course conditions are getting better each year, should take another couple years to fully recover.
Overall it's so unique and visually stunning that I'm giving it a 4 for it's wow factor not because of anything else. Price is great, go play it!
Turnberry Golf Club
Played On 06/16/2015Not what I thought
Obviously didn't look at fine print. I thought I was going to a full course. This is a par 3 course, that most likely will have you waiting around forever.
Conditions were not great as it attracts very average or begginner golfers. This intern means divots everywhere and bad putting conditions.
Anyway, won't personally be going back, good for some players I assume.
Indian Wells Golf Club
Played On 06/16/2015Manage your expectation
With lots of courses within 45 mins, I would not pick this course again.
Course wasn't in great conditions compared to several others in area.
Food was average, not much of a pro shop or clubhouse.
Heron Point Golf Links
Played On 06/16/2015Would try again
Heard a lot about the course and was excited to play it.
Felt the course was challenging and I think you need to play it a few times to figure it out. Watch out for the rough! Impossible to get out of.
We didn't have great weather and so I'd like to try it again at some point. Club house and facilities are nothing special at all. Course seemed to be in good conditions.
Katepwa Beach Golf Club
Played On 06/15/2015For what it is
If you in area on holiday and there is no where else, then you can still get your fix. Don't expect anything special other than being able to swing the club.
Relaxing and fun area, course is ok.
Turtle Creek Golf
Played On 06/13/2015Great Value
Great place to go play if you want to change things up. Friendly folks around the course and they seem to keep the course in good shape.
I would recommend and play this course again.
Rattlesnake Point Golf Club - Copperhead
Played On 06/13/2015Beautiful Twilight
Spent a great evening at Rattlesnake.
Course was in very good condition, greens ran fast and bunkers we immaculate.
Had dinner after the round and the restaurant, prop shop and other facilities were welcoming and very nice.
Will be heading back there again!
The Ocean North at Pelican Hill Golf Club
Played On 06/02/2015Top 10
Pelican Hill is a special place. I love both courses and I look forward to heading to California many times a year to play here.
Typically I play the late afternoon, never have I had any issue with pace of play, the course is immaculate, views are stunning and the overall life experience is why I can't wait to get back there.
Club house, change rooms and all facilities are luxury. I take advantage of the mens room after a round and then head in for a bite to eat.
If your in the area you have to experience Pelican Hill, world class everything!

Whistler Golf Club
Played On 05/30/2015Enjoyable
Not my number 1 choice in Whistler but WGC does an overall great job.
From a fantastic pro shop and restaurant to their practice facilities.
Pace of play was a little slow and the seem to get more than their share of stags and "rookie" golfers which can be annoying if your serious about golf.
They do a great job at marketing and they are everywhere when your looking for golf in the area, their price is very good and so with that your going to get the "average joe" golfer.
Defiantly would go back again, probably would make sure it's a weekday and not so busy.
Beauty
Great spot.
Enjoying their nice practice facility, club house, food and of course the golf. Conditions were great and I enjoyed the layout of course.
Like most BC courses it has great character engulfed in beautiful BC's nature.
A must play.
Nicklaus North Golf Course
Played On 05/29/2015Done Right
Good feeling fro the property. Great practice facility, nice club house, restaurant and pro shop.
The course was in great condition, with beautiful BC views all around you.
Pace of play was very slow, which we complained about a few times. Can be very frustrating and ruin a good game or rhythm you have going.
Clean and crisp and I will be back!
Although a better overall operation and finer tuned then Chateau or Big Sky, I think I would pick either of them before NN still. Chateau for it's layout, views and challenge and Big Sky for its overall more low key and wild beauty. can't go wrong with any of the courses in the area though and they are all priced great!
University Golf Club
Played On 05/20/2015Average
Nothing stands out about the course. It was in decent shape, not much character to the course.
Driving range is nice, if your in the area and don't have many options then go, not worth making a long drive or day trip too.
Played with some very nice people which made the day more enjoyable.
