Lipoma Firs Golf Course

Great day of golf! A bit crowded but to be expected on saturday at noon. .. 85 plus on a sunny day! Course was in goo d shape and played faster on the back nine.(gold)

The course was empty which was a surprise for a Saturday morning(I think the fair had something to do with that). Overall the course was in decent condition considering all the hot weather we've been having. Great value for only $30 for a weekend rate.

Perfect weather! The greens were just sanded and a lot of dry spots on the fairway...but for me and my level of golf, it was just fine.

I loved the course but will be careful in the future and not play courses that are being sanded - it does take something away from the experience. To be fair, this is the only critical comment of mine - otherwise, it was a wonderful experience. A nice balance of holes, far from boring, with LOTS of Lipoma FIRS - and most fairways have generously wide landing areas. It was a lot of fun and I'll be back.

Great course, very fair. Good shots are rewarded, bad ones penalized. Great staff, everyone smiling and friendly. 27 holes so plenty of options for groups, pairs, etc.

The starter moved my tee time back four groups. He gave me a song and dance about it being Golf Now's fault. I asked him if they were behind or got a late start. He said "no". The guy at the desk said to one person in our group that we are a later time because we hadn't checked in (I had checked in, paid and checked in with the starter 20 min prior).

My assumption is that they forgot to check the e-mail, or however they get online reservations, in the morning.

Played in a foursome and pace was great. greens were cut down and rolling true. We played 18 on blue and gold then hopped on green and played another nine.

Great course that has been around forever. Very tight and makes you play smart, but the only bad part to the course is if you miss the fairway, you have to watch out for rocks in the rough and in the trees. Once you know that and you keep an eye out for the rocks, it's great.

Pretty rocky if you get off the fairway or first cut. Balls seem to disappear if you hit into the rough. Course is in great shape though. Very green still. Well taken care of.

Played the course once 20 years ago. Got two t-times on a Saturday for my son and I. Didn't expect course conditions to be as nice as they were based on course rates. Very pleasantly surprised by conditions and pace of play on a weekend. We were a twosome and finished round in under 4 hours after a 12:30 start. Not expected and will return!

Pace of play is the only good thing about this course , with three starting tee boxes it's difficult to mess that up. After making reservations for a foursome on golfnow (each of which come with a bucket of balls) we were told we can have one bucket total for the four of us and will be charged for the rest. This is the only course that translates golfnows wording this way. We opted to just use the one that they allowed for us. The course was in marginal condition. The greens were more like "browns" and the bunkers had a thin layer of sand covering the concrete-hard dirt beneath.
The practice range had no option to hit from the grass and out of the 10 or so mats available, there were maybe 3 tees to hit off of. I guess you get what you pay for... $17 twilight. Would have ha. A better time practicing my chipping on my unmowed front lawn than playing lipoma.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Courses are rocky and harsh if you hit it off the fairways. Great course for twilight because of the three courses. Restaurant staff is very friendly. Large portions for the price.

Good round at Lipma Firs. Last round of several days of golf and they were out of carts, but it is an easy course to walk.

Course is in good shape for Lipoma. Greens were under watered in my opinion. That could be due to unusual hot weather we have had lately. Overall it's a good course for the price. One problem I have with this course is if your ball isn't on the fairway you may never be able to find it. I'm not a professional golfer by any means but I lose an average of 1 ball per 18 holes of golf. For some reason I lose about 6 when I play here.

The course was extremely dry in most areas except greens for so early in the summer before hot weather has hit , they need to let sprinklers run a lot more !!!

The course had 27 holes, so the pace was really good even for how busy it was. It was an enjoyable experience, club house food was above average, and beer selection was pretty darn good. I had a great day, wish my score card could say the same!

Greens are rolling true, fairways are plush. The blue tees make it a whole different course

Can't beat the golf for the price great time. Had a great time. weather was perfect

Fun round, course is really in excellent condition, great value.
