The Links at Gettysburg sprawls across rolling hills situated near the hallowed grounds where the defining battle of the Civil War took place. The golf course wages a formidable challenge itself, featuring 35 steep rock cliffs where the stone-lined tee boxes are perched and 10 lakes and waterfalls that come into play throughout. Red rock cart paths give a contrast to the lush greens and sparkling blue waters. The dramatic elevations allow golfers to enjoy stunning views of the surrounding countryside but the scenery can be almost too distracting since the demanding layout requires all of your attention. Be prepared for a bevy of strategically placed bunkers as well as mature trees. With the challenging layout and unrivaled views, it is no surprise that the Links at Gettysburg is ranked as one of the top 10 golf courses in Pennsylvania.

Great round
Paying less than $50 here is a absolute bargain. I live and play a lot of MD courses and this course is in the top 10%. This course is as hard as you want it to be based of the various tees, but it's not easy from anywhere. The greens were punched but should be rounding into perfect shape in a week or so. The rest of the course was surprisingly great for this early in the season. I was matched up with a nice 3some and we finished our round is 4:15, mainly because the group in front of us was a bit slow as it was a car path only day. (I'm glad it was! Keeps the course much, much nicer.) Phenominal layout. I'll be back often this year.
Excellent course layout.
Course is in great shape and has an excellent layout. My one complaint is there were no tee markers on the tee boxes to indicate which tee (gold, blue,etc) you were playing from. Luckily I was paired with someone familiar with the course.
