The Olympic at Gold Mountain Golf Course
About
Gold Mountain Golf Club in Bremerton, Washington offers two championship courses, the Olympic and Cascade, both of which are known as two of the best public courses in the greater Seattle area. The Olympic Course is the more challenging of the two with more hills and water hazards. Dramatically sculpted from the thick Pacific Northwest forest, the driving corridors are surprisingly generous. Towering evergreens line the fairways and there are significant elevation changes throughout, making it a complete workout to walk the course. The layout's most challenging element is the undulating greens, which are often guarded by bunkers and mounding. The final four holes are the most memorable featuring a combination of water, trees, and stunning views. The final hole on the Olympic Course is a drivable par 4 that is the perfect finish to your round.

One of the truly excellent public golf courses in the US. Great value for the money.
This course challanges all aspects of your game. It is an excellent test of your golfing skills. A course you can play over and over and still enjoy.
great
very great people great course Good weather everything went well
Gold Mt Olympic Amazing as Always
Played the Saturday of the big storm. By the time we teed off at 1.36 there was hardly anyone on the course. Finished in 3 hours and 20 minutes. Didn't wait on a shot. There was obviously debris on the course but aside from that the course was in its usual amazing shape. There are probably a small number of better courses in the state (Private and public included) but Olympic is absolutely the best value in the state hands down and deserves all the positive press and reviews.
One of the best in Washington
As always this course is a real pleasure to play. The green had recently been punched so they were not in their usual outstanding shape. It is such a great golf course that I really did not care that this had been done.,
Very challenging and very well maintained
Greens had been aerated and sanded a week ago. However, they still rolled well because of how skillfully the greens crew did their job. In another couple of weeks I'd expect them to be pristine.
Couldn't ask for a more beautiful and challenging course. One of my favorites to play in the entire northwest area.
Great! Even during Airation!
I played this course for the second time in two weeks. Staff is outstanding, very friendly, course is top-shelf as always. I drive an hour to play here over the courses in Seattle. My favorite golf club!
Lucky to have this course in my hometown.
It's a fair course for even us mid to high handycappers. I've played many different courses and this is right up there with the best. Great value in my opinion.
Great Course, Great Value
I recently booked a 2some for my son and I, He has High School districts coming up at this course and wanted to get in a practice round. I used Golfnow and found a GREAT rate. We both loved this course. It is both challenging and beautiful. The course was in great shape even with the freshly sanded greens. Thank you Golf Now.
Good course.
Course was in good condition, great fairways but the greens were heavily sanded due to recent weather conditions. Would play it again. It was quite busy the day we played.
tougher than i imagined
Absolutely one of the best courses in Washington. If it wasn't so far away from Seattle I'd play there everyday.
Challenging Course
Played there the weekend right before the Husky Tournament... The greens were running pretty fast and hard to read, not to mention the thick rough they were growing out for the tournament. Def the hardest round I've every played, but still FUN!
Very slow,
no marshals on the course, group 2 ahead of us was 1+ holes behind with no help from the staff. There was a major college tournament there w/practice rounds being played @ the same time. The Arizona State University swarmed us on the chipping green, taking our balls, setting up next to, behind and in front of us. Stood around the hole with Ipods on oblivious to the real world of paying players around them. Extremely boorish behavior which was condoned by the assistant coach - no staff on site to protect the general public from the spoiled brats - very disappointing day!
Best course in the area.
If you have to play only one course in the Bremerton to tacoma area I would recommend gold mountain. The visuals of each hole layout are stunning an the course was in a pristine condition. And with the deals on golf now, you are really getting a steal.
Challenging from the blue tees!
Some of the best fairways around. Conditions are excellent. Walking the Olympic course is tough and a workout due to elevation changes. From Blue tees, very challenging with blind second shots into greens. Bunkers aren't the best, but greens are consistent. Not many play here so pace is above average. Great course and better than Cascade, which is easier. No houses to worry about and peaceful with trees. Fairways are good width with a few water holes. Love playing here. 3 practice and 1 chipping area, and grass range. One of the best values if not the best in area. Remember $5.25 toll at narrows bridge...
Always a great round of golf
Using Golfnow make this a fantastic value. The course is always in great shape and the staff is helpful and friendly.
This is one of best courses in Washington!
Everything thing about the course is wonderful. The fairways, greens, course layout are great! If you haven't played Gold Mountain Olympic, you must! The adjoining Cascade course is also a pleasure to play.
This course was not well maintained, especially the greens.
I wish they can setup the greens same condition as the practice green. The practice green was much faster and nicer than the real greens. The real greens were too slow. It took me several holes to figure out.
Well maintained, slow play.
The Olympic Course was in great shape, the greens were fast and true. The only negative was the pace of play was too slow; hit and wait, hit and wait. Don't think the cart girl came around on the back nine. I would recommend this course if you aren't in a hurry.
The course is immaculate!
Second time I've played the course and it looks just as good as it did a year ago.
Gold Rush
This is one of the top 5 public courses in WA. Incredible value if you play the afternoon rate, which begins at 3:00.
