The Olympic at Gold Mountain Golf Course
About
Gold Mountain Golf Club in Bremerton, Washington offers two championship courses, the Olympic and Cascade, both of which are known as two of the best public courses in the greater Seattle area. The Olympic Course is the more challenging of the two with more hills and water hazards. Dramatically sculpted from the thick Pacific Northwest forest, the driving corridors are surprisingly generous. Towering evergreens line the fairways and there are significant elevation changes throughout, making it a complete workout to walk the course. The layout's most challenging element is the undulating greens, which are often guarded by bunkers and mounding. The final four holes are the most memorable featuring a combination of water, trees, and stunning views. The final hole on the Olympic Course is a drivable par 4 that is the perfect finish to your round.

GoldMountain is worth the trip
This was our first time to play the gold mountain courses. Cascade on Saturday, Olympic on Sunday. The Olympic is a bit more challenging and the weekend rate was high, but we were here and wanted to play both. The course conditions were ideal and the pace was spot on. We have played numerous courses in the area and this was was highly reccommended, and we were not dissapointed. Play it on a week day and you will find it most enjoyable.
Good for golf
Course gets 5 stars. Beautiful views!
-1 star for not having brakes on my cart, brakes kept disengaging causing me to have to run after the cart multipule times.
-1 for food, had prime rib included in my round. Came with an "ok" piece of prime rib, carrots, and a plain baked potato, no sause or fixens.
Go here for the golf not for the food.
Brautiful course....great views....
I will definitely play here again. I played better the 2nd time. Avoided the trouble for the most part.
Olympic Course
Awesome course with breathtaking views. The staff was extremely friendly and the cost is amazing for the quality of course you get to play. Highly recommend this course to anyone looking for a challenge with awesome scenery.
A nice course tucked away.
Nice challenging play due to narrow landing spots and tight tree lines.
Top 10 public course in Washington, easy
Always in great condition. Excellent layout of challenging, memorable holes. Probably the most challenging last 4-5 holes I've played.
League on Wednesday
Gold Mountain is always a great challenging track.
I booked a Golf now for 6:15 pm thinking the course would be fairly cleared of players. Not the case, Wednesday is league night. This Texas boy learned something. :0 Call ahead. Cheers and enjoy the beauty of this fine course .
Water please
It was a rather hot day as we started at 2:48. we started on #10. after 3 holes we were looking for water coolers at the tee boxes, however none were available. We finally saw the cart girl at about hole #17 (8th hole for us.) We loaded up on water and gatorade. We never saw her again. This facility has 2 full courses , but we were told they only had one cart on this particular day. On the second nine , the front side, we saw 2 coolers. They need to buy a few more coolers to be prepared for hot northwest days. At least one on every other hole would do it. Normally when I have played in hot weather in Arizona there is one on every hole. The cart was in disrepair as we had to put a beer can between the top of the cart and the top of the flap (used to cover the clubs on rainy days) to keep it from rattling. Quite loud and irritating. It's the little irritations like this that can damage your golf experience. Overall however this is a beautiful course and well maintained. Hope they take these comments to heart and correct the small discrepancies. I will be back to play this course again.
No.1 Washington public course
Absolutely, love Olympic course, great value and course conditions, challenging par 5 holes and lengthy par 4's. Great variety of holes and interesting course routing. Unfortunately, I believe 17th and 18th holes are not befitting 1st 16 holes. Both holes squeezed into too small area. Must drive the ball well as numerous holes play long because of elevations changes. Enjoy both courses in the same day with their 36 hole special. We will be back!
Olympic Course
Top notch facility, course design, conditions. Played with two other Golfnowers, good time. Lush conditions from tee to greens. Greens not exactly smooth but putted fine, quick and difficult to read. Great mountain golf views, awesome layout. Carts not in the greatest shape. Definate play when you get a chance.
No better value for the money
If this course were $100 I'd still think it was a bargain. Fairways lush, rough thick and punitive as it should be, yet you can easily find your ball. Greens fast and true, and they will hold a good shot. Visually striking. First rate all the way.
Gold Mountain - travel to the west side!
Good course, well worth the trip to the other side of the peninsula, a good drive away from Seattle. The course is superb, beautiful, and a strong test. The only negative is no water on the course and limited beverage service via a drink cart.
Nice course
Played it for first time on recommendation. Nice layout. Nice course all around but not as nice as I expected. Still a good course to play.
Olympic Course
I haven't played the Olympic Course in 8 yrs. it's still my favorite golf course in the pacific NW!
a great day with my boys
i always like to play this course when ever I have time.
Great Venue
First time playing here ... on vacation. Unfortunately played at 8 AM on Monday so by myself . Some of the holes were mot obvious without any local knowledge. And the greens were slower than one would expect from a course of this caliber but a terrific experience nonetheless.
Great Golf
Would highly recommend the Olympic course; beautiful. Challenging but fair. Some fairways, especially #8 has a serious drainage problem. Most impressive part of the whole facility was the excellent practice area.
I love it
Love the course. It was Father's Day and a bit slower than usual but the course, staff, food, were excellent. The highlight was being paired with Susie Tran on the front nine. The locals know who she is and everyone in our group was amazed to see this future LPGA champion in action
Challenging
The green speed was very inconsistent. Overall the was a very challenging course that was fun to play.
