About
The Encanto Golf Course is an 18-hole golf course designed by William P. Bell and built in 1936. It offers 6,404 yards of par-70 golf from the championship tees.
Reservations are required on the Encanto Golf Course, which is open year-round, and features all of the amenities, such as rental carts and clubs, an in-house professional and a driving range. Metal spikes are allowed.

Beverage cart
The beverage cart came around when I was on the 4th hole and didn’t need anything. Then I never saw it again.

Beachy!!
All was great our 1st time here and we will be back but hope the greens are less sandy yes we came to the realization that putts were not gunna roll the way we wanted so gummies were a real thing lol ordered some food on the 9th hole where we saw the sign to do so but I had to wait on it and that allowed the player behind us to catch up! So we had to play faster to get a head and have a comfortable seperation. The course is very flat and wide so makes for an easy day! I like a bit more character! The carts are 100% tho Cave Creek get your hands on these when your lease is up!!!

Nice early start!
Nice flat course but certainly challenging.
I lost one ball but most are well retrievable.

Hot temps, but good golf
Had a 8:08 tee time on a Sunday. Checked in 30 minutes early and the club house staff were super friendly. Got my own cart as a single, which was not expected, but is always nice. Was paired with a threesome and there were full groups ahead of us and behind us all morning. The pace of play was good for how packed the course was. Got through in a little over four hours. The course was in great condition, especially since this summer in AZ has been brutally hot and dry. The course was also pretty open, so even when someone sprays some shots off the tee, the ball was quickly found, which helps with pace of play. Overall great experience and will be back as you can’t beat the price.

Encanto heater
Played in the morning under sunny skies and slight breezes with a high of 105…but with golf course humidity. Course is in great shape and I would highly recommend it, especially for the value!!!!

Great value
Greens are very solid. For the price it’s hard to beat

Good condition, amenities lacking
Course was in great shape, remodeled restaurant and pro shop a plus. But outside seating is confined to two ratty picnic tables with no shade. Carts have no beverage coolers and staff has to cram drinks in plastic bags with ice. Lame. Need a decent patio setup off the putting green and/or across from the driving range, with smoking and non-smoking sections.

I was actually surprised at the conditions of the course
After paying the price I paid I didn’t expect it to be the way it was. It was actually well worth it and honestly maybe underpriced. The fairways were good, tee boxes were great, and the greens were the biggest surprise. Minus the speed the we’re actually not bad. I would have paid more to play. I tee off at 10:30am and was done and in my car at 12:45pm. Had to play through a 3-some and a single at the turn. I enjoyed my round at Encanto and would recommend it to other golfers looking for a fun course to play in the current summer conditions.
