The Cascade at Gold Mountain Golf Course
About
There are two championship courses available at Gold Mountain Golf Club, the Cascade and the Olympic. Taking advantage of the dramatic Pacific Northwest surroundings, the courses offer stunning views from nearly every hole. If the dramatic elevation changes of the Olympic Course are overly intimidating, the more walkable Cascade Course will be ideal. It may be less challenging but that doesn't mean it's easy. The openness of the golf course is misleading, if you want to score low you will actually need strategic, well placed shots on each hole. There are some tricky holes but overall it's a course that will appeal to players of all skill levels. Ample driving areas frame the tree-lined fairways and the player-friendly greens are open and inviting. Gold Mountain's Cascade Course is often the top choice for tournament play.

Great place to spend the day
This course was beautiful, challenging & very well maintained. The staff was super friendly & helpful. All golfers here were nice. Easy to walk. I will be back again & again.
cascade course
the course was in excellent condition there was a twosome in front and back of our foursome went pretty slow for first 9
Great Course
Love this course. Just challenging enough to make it a lot of fun, but also forgiving enough for beginners. Very well maintained. Beautiful woodsy setting.
One of my favorite courses
We had a great time, played in four hours in prime time.
thanks to the entire staff.
A++
This course was a great one for the moment we walk on !! Be back for sure !!
Wilderness 1 hour from Seattle
A trip to Gold Mt from Seattle is a one day vacation. My wife and I took the Bremerton Ferry, in itself, a 1 hour, beautiful sailing excursion. Gold Mt is 15 mins from Ferry dock. Cascade Course is a beautiful tract winding through woods - no course-side homes. Many people were on the course but play moved smoothly. Met some nice locals who offered-up local information. A very fun & relaxing day.
Gold mountain cascade
Excellent value, definitely worth the money and will be a replay
This course is a hidden gem
I played this course about 10 years ago and Im very impressed how its well maintained and cared for until up to now. The fairways and putting greens are well manicured. The set up is so balanced for low and high handicap players. Truly a magnificent and enjoyable course all around. We'll play again and highly recommend.
Great course - less than courteous other players
The course was great, but I think the Olympic course is better. Pace of play was really slow and slower players would not let you play through even with two open holes in front of them. Looked like high schoolers ( three girls and a guy). Those teaching golf and course managers need to remind players about golf etiquette. Need to get a course marshal on the course to speed up the pace of play. Close to 5 hours is too long to play 18 holes.
Also, the restaurant needs to provide food items suitable for vegetarians and vegans. It's not that hard to do if you really try. Most golf course food choices amount to the worst possible stuff you can eat. How about providing healthy food choices.
Great course, best value around.
The courses at Gold Mountain are impeccable. Fast greens and dry fairways. Extremely well drained courses. The only complaint would be about one of the staff members. The guy got my tee time wrong and ended up sending me out late even when I was an hour early and had my confirmation email to show him.
Always offers challenging shots
A definite best value for money spent and an adjacent course woth oner of the best cahllenging golf oiutings in the Northwest, particularly for a publicly owned operation.
Beyond an excellent value
I'd been wanting to play the course for some time, and when I got a "Golfnow" offer to do so for $20 I jumped on it. The course easily competes with $80-$100 courses I've played. I played on a sunny day, but it had rained off and on for the previous week and yet the course had no muckiness or swampiness, it was pristine. We teed off at 0750 and we're done at 1120ish so...3 hours plus? Outstanding...I'd definitely play again for double what I paid
Good times
Greens were near perfect for this time of year. Fairways did not have any muddy spots due to cart path only Wish they had electric carts. Overall...EXCELLENT ! ! ! !
Mild Winter Golf
Played on a day after several days of heavy rain. 90% chance of rain the day we played, but we lucked out and it never rained. Very comfortale temperatures and the course was nice. Played lift clean and place, but for the most part that wasn't necessary. Greens were slower than usual because it had rained so much. I don't think they could mow so that was an adjustment. We really enjoyed ourselves since the weather was much better than expected and the course had drained very well.
This is great course
Played very well. It's definately a great course for an amateur
Worth the drive (and toll)
wide fairways and a nice mix of par 3,4 &5. Very well drained. I played with intermittent rain and was surprized by how well the course played (and that I didn't lose any balls!) highly recommend.

Gold Mountain Cascade course is awesome. Staff is outstanding and course is very well maintained.
Perfect even in the rain!
We got this round at an unheard of price. We knew we were going to get a little wet as rain was expected all day. The gentleman in the pro shop gave us a cart that had doors on it so we stayed comfortable until the 18th hole when it started raining hard. This course was in great condition and it drains really good. We will be back.
Beautiful! Nice open fairways!
This was the first time I played this course and it was really enjoyable. The only thing that I didn't like was that the greens had just been aerated and sanded. I will definitely go back again.
