A Dying Course

Played this course a few times, however the conditions are worsening every time. This is a pity due to stunning views and challenging lies. Though I feel that paying anything more than €15 to play this course is a waste of money. This club seriously needs to start lowering their green fees for a much needed increase in clientele.

Nice course, challenging.

got excellent deal online €13.
Course plays well, a few challenging's along the way. take care if first time playing, as some drives are blind and is hard to read from map on score card. rental of a buggy may ease the pain as you get to hole 18.

Stay out of the Rough

Enjoyed the round although course conditions would have been greatly improved if the grass was cut tighter on both the tee boxes and fairways. Greens were in good condition.

Super value

I booked this course online and got it for €11 per player. The course is in great condition and played very true. A better map on the card would be handy, this was our first time to play the course and we found it difficult to figure out where to go at times, a lot of the tee shots are "blind" so a hole layout at each tee box would be much appreciated.

We played the course on Good Friday so we did not get to use the facilities so I cannot comment on them.

I look forward to playing this course again in the near future.

Very difficult course, a challenging walk

The wind was crazy but I can see this would be a VERY challenging course even in perfect conditions.
We only played 12 as the conditions were too rough - and I was running out of balls!!!
Will go back on a more clement day

Very enjoyable golf challenge

A very good heathland course, every hole presenting its own challange. Holes 5 thro 8 locally known as "Amen Corner".
A number of holes present you with "blind shots". A 2nd or subsequent outing would be required to maximise the enjoyment. (No stroke saver available).
The 18th is a long par5 hole with an uphill finish to test your resolve & stamina. The course is built on the side of the valley and gradually creeps up the side to reach the highest point on the 13th green. Green to tee climb on about 4 holes is steep. Otherwise despite its location it isn't particularly "hilly".
The course was well maintained, fairways excellent, rough medium hight & fair. Greens are on the slow side but most were in good shape. One or two in need of attention.
Buggies are available for hire and should be considered if you are more use to a flat course.

Testing course for all handicaps.

Nice course with great views. The course is very hilly and has a lot of blind teeshots and into the greens. Extreme accuracy is required on the front nine with tight tree lined fairways.
Overall nice course with fantastic views and friendly staff. Recommend better course guides for visitors or hole layouts on the tee boxes. More senior golfers would require buggies which are for hire at resonable rates.

Nice view of Wicklow mountains and sea but a very hilly course so wont need to be fit

I thought the course was very hilly but nice views of mountains and sea and not many golfers out on a sat . You would need to be fit with all the hills to climb .The course was challenging with different hazards on each hole and would need to have an accurate drive where fairways cut through forest in a few holes.

This course is in a lovely part of the country.

Right on the side of the Wicklow mountains, what a lovely part of the country. The staff were very friendly and helpful, nice course but needs a bit of TLC especially the greens. Will defiantly play again.
