We played on a Very hot afternoon. They conditions were great. Everyone there treated you as a member. The course had lots of elevation. Go now, before it goes back private.

GPS included on cart but there is no downloadable app for your android or I phone.
Very hilly with undulating greens where playing to the slope is challenging and rewarding. Lots of bunkers with little rocks in the sand.
This CC is FIRST class and reasonable memberships are available.

If possible, this course should be played with someone who is familiar with the layout for the first few times. Without doing so you can hit what you think to be a real good shot, then find yourself in a bit of trouble. It seemed to play a lot longer than what it is posted.

This place is immaculate, but consider yourself warned, it is the toughest course in Central Florida and they are very proud of that fact. Every single green is a tough read and the undulation, elevation change, and depth and number of bunkers force you to be very accurate with every shot. It was a very enjoyably round though. I was told that they will be punching their greens within the next couple of weeks, so make sure to call the clubhouse before booking to ensure that you're not going to play this one when its not at its best, because that wouldn't be doing it justice.

the course had a large crew out working on the place. the greens were still at different speeds but that will change if we get some rain to get good growing going on. the only thing I was not happy about was ROCKS in traps that is not top notch it could damage your clubs!!!. the greeting you get from the cart man that greets you when you park to pro shop was all top notch!!! you will have a great day at this course. tip play the right tees or get beat up. good luck..

I got a great deal on Goldnow, course was in awesome shape and staff was friendly. This is a must play!

The best area golf resort around, hands down. They seriously thought of everything a golfer needs and the facility sets the standard for all other courses to be jealous of. The course has crazy views and plays pretty tough. The greens were 1st class and true to line. I can't wait to go back.

Beautiful, stunning clubhouse. An air of opulence and wealth. Amazing practice facility. Pro shop staff indifferent, but polite. Rangers and other staff outstanding in service and attitude.

Course layout and design excellent. Fairways just average. Bare spots and grass thinning. Some greens just average, others good. Slow and coarse, I would say immature, but they have been there long enough to be healthy.

Could be one the best courses in FL, but need to improve the fairways and greens to match the clubhouse. The design is splendid and a good test of golf. The Vistas and rolling hills are a gem that is difficult to match in FL.

I would definitely recommend this course to anyone, but would warn the better golfers to not expect Isleworth or Bayhill grooming.

Inconsistent greens does not diminish this excellent course, facilities and supportive staff. Course management skills, and ability to scramble will test golfers at all levels. A 4 handicapper at an easier home course, I shot 82 first time playing it and felt it was a great test of my accuracy off the tee and short game decision making. Can't wait to return. Loved the challenge and difficulty. With Numerous tee box options, up to 7,600 yards, critical to select the right tee box for your game.

The course is long and undulating and when matured in a few years will be a test of length and accuracy, the greens are tough to read and quite quick. But overall needs a few more years.

This course is the best course I ever played. Great layout and conditions were perfect. Great selection of tee boxes to play. Challenging but fair layout with scenic views. Pro shop and Outside staff was very friendly. Dinner after in 19th hole was excellent. A must play if your ever in central Florida.

This course was designed to naturally flow with the rolling hills of Clermont. It is always in great condition and is my favorite course in Florida. The first tee has close to a 60 foot elevation change and it only gets better from there. I guess they had a problem with their greens, but they diagnosed it quickly and the greens are probably at 95%. The rough is short so the course is challenging but can be forgiving. The greens are quick and it would be helpful to have knowledge of where to land your ball on the green assuming you are good enough to put it in an area that you want. There is also more than enough sand to find, so bring your A game. The staff was super friendly and the 19th hole is great. The locker room is also fantastic. I can't wait to get back out here!

This course was awful. It is in my bottom 3 of all time bad golf courses. It's boring, so boring I didn't even care to finish. The terrain and elevation is cool, especially for FL - but that's where the fun stops. All this course has is length and bunkers - that's it. No rough, now water anywhere, no doglegs, no forced carries, no TREES (it's like playing golf in an open dirt field) and the conditions? Awful... Greens were shaggy at best, fairways were actually ok but there was no rough or long grass at all - so there is greenish fairway and dirt fairway. No rakes to rake after yourself in the multitude of large waster bunkers and foot prints everywhere. Pace of play? 5 1/2 hours. 19th hole? Lost our ticket, wasted 30 min of our time and then made the food - cold, and wouldn't replace and fully charged. Pro shop and outside staff were friendly - too bad the course lacked a ranger.

Aside from the clubhouse area which is gorgeous - this place is Terrible and I wouldn't play it again if it was free. I was 3 over par through 12 holes from the tips, and I quit because I was just bored. Yes the course is that boring and lame.

This place is amazing! You actually feel like you're golfing in Tuscany. Golf course is in great condition with amazing views. The clubhouse is the nicest I've ever seen. It's like a Tuscan village all on its own. Makes for a special day. One of our favorite courses in Florida. A must play for sure.

This is a tricky but fun course. There are many blind shots and hidden bunkers that can deceive first timers. Resembles a British course with tightly mowed areas in front of the greens and the ability to putt from off the greens.

Multiple sand traps on every hole. Important to use the included gps to determine distances to traps. Most fairways are sloped - A well placed tee shot down the middle can still end up in the rough or hazard. Same thing applies to your second shot on the par 5's. Greens ok. GREAT views on just about every hole. Clubhouse is awesome!!!! Cart guys were GREAT!!! Worth the experience - bring your a-game.

A friend and I went out to play Sunday afternoon, this course is usually our of my price range but Golf Now had a $35 special in the late afternoon. I had a 4:40 tee time and got there early. They have a great practice facility with free range balls so we worked on our game a bit before starting. After the first hole the clouds came rolling in with the lightning. The course is on high ground and you can see every strike from miles around. We headed back to the clubhouse and hung out in the underground parking area to stay dry. The point of this review is to make mention of the cart staff. It was raining cats and dogs and they were out there in with a smile on their faces. Soaking wet they even loaned me their umbrella to make my way back to the club house for a rain check that was provided with no hassles and a friendly face. When I got back to the cart one of the guys offered to take my clubs back to my car that I parked in the open parking area so as to reduce my time in the rain. These guys were so nice and you could really tell they enjoyed what they were doing. Great staff out there. Looking forward to redeeming that rain check!

Love the layout of the course but the greens were in bad shape.

Greens were terrible. 5 1/4 hour round. Course design has many blind shots that had us hitting into group ahead three times. Fairways on most every hole have limited landing areas (I'm talking hitting the middle of the fairway!) that if you miss result in bunker or even worse - hazard lies! Poor design and unfair landing areas make this one of the worse premium courses I've ever played. I do have to say that visually it is a beautiful place with a fantastic clubhouse.
