tee time was at 1:20....did not start playing until 1:50 due to not enough carts. course was in terrible shape, one of the worst I've ever played at. first time playing and do not plan on coming back
REALLY IN BAD CONDITION
Stay away , I wouldn’t play this course if it was free .
Decent course
Tee boxes are very difficult to place tees in on most of the front nine; the back nine is better in that regard. Fairways are pretty rough with some muddy, non playable spots. The greens are in pretty good shape and are challenging. Cart paths are very bad so take it slow or you will lose your bag off the back of the cart. Overall a decent experience for the price.

Greens are in excellent condition but tough. Teebox in great shape with newly grown grass. Fairways need lots of work, with bleed areas. Carth paths need lots works.
Good for cost
Pace of play was good. But course needed some good TLC. Tee boxed were tough to put tees down on some holes but the course could be great with some maintenance.
Great course for the cost
Had a good time. Pace was good, course was clean. Overall good experience
Enjoy the view of Anacostia river
Excellent hospitality by the staff; great value for $. I will play again here.
Great Round in DC
This was a great in DC at a historical course. The pace of play was great (2 hrs 18 mins). It rained the night before and the course was not soggy. The green fees was at a great value compared to some of the semi-private courses.
Best bang for your buck in DC
Solid course with solid staff, tee boxes are a little hard and the cart path is kinda nonexistent (so just go wherever you want that isn’t a green) but overall best bang for your buck in the area.
