Sunset Valley Golf Club

First time playing since the redesign and I was highly impressed. Early season here in Chicago, but the greens were in really good shape. Can’t wait to play during mid season.

Beautiful fall golf. They blew all the leaves off. Nobody was out there...Cart path only so we decided to walk and it was great !

Love the new changes and the greens are awesome to putt on.

Great new course in Highland Park IL. After I heard they where closing Highland Park golf club across the street i was concerned that there would only be Sunset Vally and old-ish not so great course. However after a huge rebuild and design i was excited to give it a shot. Well worth the wait.

Overall, the course is fairly short and straightforward. The greens will develop into the key challenge for SV but they are VERY firm at this point.

The course reopened this past weekend after a $7M renovation to the course and clubhouse. We played on a wet windy Tuesday and the course was fantastic. I had played Sunset 100's of times growing up and the course was exactly the same and yet completely different. No change in the routing but a completely different look with new bunkers in the fairwarys, less trees and tougher rough. The greens were all redone and they are young but in incredible condition. They rolled great and held approach shots. I am excited to have this course back in the North Suburb rotation. It was greatly missed! Best of luck to Cole and the rest of the crew.

Course in great shape for November, only a few leaves. Great value

Due to some system glitch, I paid $4 for 18 at Sunset Valley. It was cloudy with off/on drizzles. The entire course from tee to green was in great shape. The staff did a tremendous job cleaning all the leaves; I did not see a leaf on any of the greens. The the ball rolled true on all the greens. Although part of the bunkers were filled with water from the rain, the fairs were in great shape. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I enjoyed a relaxed round The greens were true and well maintained. Overall this is the kind of course you like to go to with others who may not be regular players. The course is forgiving.

Nice location play to fast..good staff..

Course it nice, but not for $60. Would rather play Deerfield CC for the same price and that course is much nicer and they have GPS carts. The cart we had here got a flat tire when we were on the 12th hole and had to call and have them send out a new cart. All the tires looked very old and seats were tore up...All their carts need to be replaced.

Kind of surprised this nice of a golf course in highland park has such dated equipment.

Course was in great condition. Staff was extremely pleasant. No driving range is a negative, but the course itself was great for the price

The course was in decent shape. Greens rolled nicely. Would consider playing there again.

It was after 230 on memorial day so of course play was pretty slow but in general always a great time at Sunset. Forgiving holes soft greens.

Always a pleasure to play a course that is so well kept up, green are in great shape, it had rained almost 5 " the night before, but drainage was terrific and it did not hurt play at all., Great friendly staff

Course conditions were excellent. The green side bunkers were nicely maintained...in March! Course staff (Cole) were very attentive and helped me replace my push cart with one of the courses push carts when a wheel broke. I enjoyed playing here.
