Great playing course when in shape
This course is usually in excellent condition but the winter and recent rains have hindered the recovery. Wait a few more weeks before playing. There was hardly anyone there while we were. Everyone must have known the conditions.
Great course
In good condition considering recent weather issues. Bridges have been upgraded since last year.
Really water logged
The course today was in the worst condition I have ever seen it in. The greens were aerated 10 days earlier. The course was extremely wet. fairways were so wet, I had to move my ball out of saturated, water logged ground. The fairway bunkers were still empty...meaning you were playing out if dirt. Course needs about 14 days for the greens to be great. Bunkers need sand, and the limbs and debris need to be cleaned up. I will be back in May to play again. Still one of my favorite places to play. Visit "Point Blank" for a handcrafted beer in downtown Corydon when you finish your round.
Great value. Entertaining course
Greens were in excellent condition. Par 3's were challenging but fair.
I love playing over water and this course has several holes that you have a lay up than hit your second to third shot over water great challange
I have played this course several time this year and each time I played the course has been in great shape.It has a lot of dog legs and straight holes and plenty of water to make it very challenging.I think it is one of the best courses in Indiana.
When you get a birdie you deserve it.The peoplel there are very friendly and helpful very enjoyable experence playing there.

Outstanding greens given the time of year. A whole lot of water and sand as well. Very fun to play.
This course has more character than most
Old Capital has some of the best greens in Kentuckiana. No matter how many times you play the course it provides a new challenge and many tee shots remain daunting every time out. Great play for the money.

A well laid out course that makes you make a shot & not just hit the ball. Very enjpyable.
This was my first trip to the Old Capital Course, i was very pleased with the course & the layout. there are some shot making holes on both the fron & the back. there is also many elevated tee boxes & greens. a challenging but fun course to play.

Great course
One of my favorite courses in the Louisville, KY/Southern Indiana region. I look forward to playing it many more times and introducing fellow players to it.
Like the course
When I finished front nine a high school golf tournament had started so the back nine was not available. Poor scheduling of course tee times. Guy in pro shop was going to give me a rain check for nine holes then discovered I had booked through golfnow and said he couldn't.
Hills of S IN
I haven't played this course in years, certainly since it has been redone. The fairways were great and the greens were in good shape too. The layout varied and being long off the tee was not the issue. The pace of play was intolerable and unfortunately took away from the overall experience.

It would really be hard to find a course that you liked every hole. This one has a couple that I find difficult. Over all though I like most of them and the course is well maintained and nice to look at. The fairways were good and luckily I didn't find the rough too much and only one sand trap. It was a fun day because I played better than usual. I will definitely come back to play again.
Great Course
You can tell they put a lot of time and energy into making this a nice course. Although some of the scenic features i.e waterfalls on the end holes were off it is still a great place to play. Was quite challenging because the greens were pretty hard but I enjoy a good challenge from time to time.
good driving leads to good scores here.
the course is on the shorter side of things at 6700 yards... but, it requires good shot making off the tee and into greens, some of which are very severe. the course is well maintained and i always look forward to my rounds there.
Nice layout. Requires you to use lots of clubs on your bag.
I really like this course. I live an hour away. Well with the trip. Very beautiful setting. Creek is very pretty and comes into play on several holes. Course was laid out well. Would advise anyone to play the course.
