Old Capital Golf Club

Great lay out! Doglegs each way, elevation changes, water falls, island greens, this course has it all! If they were to add GPS onto their carts, then they might be considered for the best course around!

Although the course had endured several inches of rain in the last week it was in good condition. The layout is one of my favorites in southern Indiana with plenty of elevation change, large and smooth greens, and generous fairways. The 8th and 9th holes are two of the more beautiful holes in the area!

This course is challenging and has some beautiful holes and scenery. Clubhouse prices in food and drinks are sky high though so eat before you get there. This is one of my favorite courses

Keep it in the fairway!! A lot of sand and water, but in good condition.

Very pleasant experience, staff is top notch and the course is good for any golfer. Conditions were a little rainy but crews did a great job keeping up with everything. Would play again!

This is a great course with a nice variety of holes. A couple of the ponds could use some attention otherwise the course was in good condition. The rough was cut at a sensible length so a hacker like myself doesn't have so much trouble getting back in play.

Excellent Condition!!! Greens were Fast and in Perfect Condition. Tee Boxes were in Excellent Shape!!! Fairways were cut and in Great Shape!! Best I have experienced Old Capital in many Years!!! Will go back this summer for sure!!!

Greens were really good. Fairways were in good shape. Most bunkers were good. Some of the back tee boxes were just ok. Rough is in good shape. Stay out of the heather. Nice place. Good food and drink set up.

The course is a great layout . The greens are some of the smoothest in the area. The course is away from the city so it's very quiet. Variety of elevation changes and lakes and creeks makes you pay attention. Friendly staff in pro shop and bar. Demo clubs available.

Needed more sand in bunkers

First time playing here...is now one of my favorite courses. I just like it. Pretty decent layout, good mix of holes, liked the par 3's as a group. Course is challenging enough without being overly hard. Nice scenery. Course was maintained well. Very good value for what I paid to play. Only negative I have is that the Bermuda fairways had not come in very well and was very thin and sparse over much of the course, much more so that any other Bermuda course I have played this spring, not sure why. It's out of my way but I will play it again for sure, without hesitation.

We played from the Blue Tees, I believe it played around 6300 yards. Fun course, challenging course, but you can score well.

Old Capital is in very good condition and plays every inch of the stated length. Greens are excellent, tee boxes are great, fairways are cut nicely. Sand leaves a bit to be desired, its a bit thin and packed down. Rough is tall and easy to lose balls. As challenging as Covered Bridge, but for half the price. Golfnow deal worked without a hitch. The greens are the best part of this place. They still had some sand left over from top dressing. They did run med speed and smooth. Fairways may not be grown is full yet this time of year, could use some more grass. Many of the tee boxes were not cut. I have heard of this course over the years, and it wasn't what I expected. I can see where it would be a good course, but I can also see that it could become a goat ranch really quick. Not sure witch way this course is heading.

The course is fairly open, but challenging. The fairways are green and the greens are always in great shape. Very nice course.

Fairways were fair, green were great, not very well manicured around green and tee boxes. But price was reasonable and staff was friendly
