Wayland Country Club

Not super long, but tricky. Some narrow fairways. We played from the tips and never had any issue with length, but definitely had some visually intimidating site lines off the tee! Lots of risk-reward opportunity on the course, including a drivable par 4 which is always fun. Greens rolled beautifully and were definitely above average in pace compared to most courses in the area.

Wayland is a great value for being so close to Boston. Pace of play is pretty solid even with so many walkers. Would absolutely recommend, especially for higher handicaps

First time playing here. Course was in great shape. Unfortunately they had recent aerated the greens. The course is pretty flat, and forgiving on bad shots. Fairly easy course.

The tips only measure a shade over 6,000 yards but don't think for a second it's a "short course". Plenty of "less than driver" tee shots, one long par 3, several par 4's over 400 yards and you have all the challenge you want. Very speedy greens even for 11/3 with tiers and undulations that would make Jack Nicklaus proud! At full price a little pricey but at Hot Deal price a real bargain.

distances from the white tees are fair to seniors, and the greens roll true and are in very good condition for so late in the year.

Either they need to book tee times with more buffer or the ranger needs to move people along better. Nearly 5.5 hours for 18 holes is pushing it.

The course for the first time it was quite forgiving the only two issues were slow pace of play took five hours and the rough is a little long but I suspect that was because it had rained heavily for the past few days but I would play The course again

Want to Wayland Country Club last Tuesday and was pleased at the condition of the course. I hadn't played there in years and it was in very good condition. It is not an overly long course (6000 yards from the blues) but the greens are quick and the rough is thick.
If you haven't played there recently I would suggest a return trip especially with the tee times and good deals you can get on golf now.

First time playing here Guy in pro shop was very friendly and helpful, actually looked for and gave me a logo ball. We had to play front 9 twice due to maintenance on back side. Course is short , straight forward and not overly difficult. Greens are small and still recovering from aerate. Rough was very long and wet. Looked as if they hadn't been mowed lately, a real penalty if you don't find fairway. Overall a good day would definitely be back at the cost and to see all 18 holes. Menu in clubhouse looked great so next time.
