Great course!
Course is very well taken care of. Great staff and grounds crew.
Good early golfing
Price was right, golf course in oK condition, windy cool, forced into playing with 3 other golfer of a much higher handicap.
Wayland Country Club
Course was in great shape. Beautiful fall day to play golf. Course was very enjoyable. Great pace of play. Finished 18 holes in under 4 hours. Nice layout with various hole lengths for the Par 3's and 4's.
Always an Enjoyable Round
A cool, clear, breezy Wednesday was a perfect time to play Wayland Country Club. The course was in very nice condition (as always) and the greens fast, firm and beautiful (as always). I hadn't played since July, but I had the chance to play, so I took advantage of Golf Now Hot Deal and slipped down Rte. 20 to Wayland. It's always in great shape. The grounds crew is always out there making sure the course is the best it can be. I had a great time playing this very nice golf course. I would recommend Wayland Country Club to anyone anytime. The course is not long so you could play the "Blues" if you wanted. The greens are beautiful, even this late into October, but make sure you play plenty of break. Tough Par 3's you have to hit and hold the greens. Miss the greens on these holes and you will not make par. Great place for anyone to play. Go there and try it !!!!!
Great Course For All Levels
The staff was fantastic and helped me greatly by getting me out on the course by pairing me with another single visiting from Europe...beyond my expectations. A good challenge from the tips...tee to green outstanding conditions. Was a nce round and a good family friendly place...you can't go wrong by just having fun...I did!
Customer service and Course Etiquette missing here
Nice course, not a lot of money to walk it, but just not worth the grief. The guy in the pro shop is just miserable, you really are an inconvenience to his whole day by showing up and trying to pay for a round. Ground staff dont have an ounce of golf sense, quite happily driving carts in front of tee boxes or right up to putting greens or right behind you on the fairway as you are in your back swing. The people playing it for the most part were ok, but as usual there was a decent amount of miserable old guys who just want to wait for the whole fairway to clear before they hit of the blue tees and send another 150yard bomb up the fairway. just a miserable golf experience which was a shame as it is a nice course in good condition, just wont see me there again.
Hot deal was worth $15
First time playing this course with my beginner friend. Great stress free and casual place on the thursday we went until the 18th hole. One staff member didn't seem to like that we were around 18yrs old . Anyways great hot deal value but would never pay their full price.
Wayland country club
This course was in great shape. The greens were outstanding
Good value
Booked a "hot deal" on Golfnow which made this a sweet deal. Course was in decent shape considering the lack of rain we've had. This course is usually crowded but today was surprisingly not. Would recommend to the average golfer. It's not a private country club but a pretty good local course.
Plus I shot my personal best here.
Wayland CC always in excellent shape
I have played Wayland CC a number of times. The thing that stands out about Wayland is that the course is always in very good shape. It is a well cared for course. Having said this, I have to say that I find Wayland to be enjoyable, yet, a bit ho-hum(uninteresting). The holes look, for the most part, very similar with very little elevation change. This particular outing offered an unbeatable rate and weather to match. I couldn't pass this opportunity up. My playing partners were all single players who couldn't pass up the deal as well. We had a very enjoyable round, as we all played to about the same level. We played 18 holes in a little under 3.5 hours. Thank you GolfNow for a fun day on the links.
Short but nice course in good condition.
This course is fairly short but some of the holes play much longer. It is great condition (except for some grass clipping near the greens), our pace of play was good, some crews out doing maintenance and watering. This course is open and flat, some water hazards and woods to watch out for, place your shots and it will reward.
I would play again at the special rate.
Great course
Awesome staff, course was in great shape, pace was a lie slow, everyone was out cause it's been raining 2 weekends in a row, golf now price was cheap for this well maintained course.
Great Value, great condition, fun course, great for walking
New Update: Golfed here past 2 weekends in May 2016. Course is i great shape, they punched the greens early this year and are nice, smooth and quick. I was a single and the 3some that was suppose to be booked never showed so since they were booked for the next hour or 2 they did not make me wait and drove me out to the 4 th hole to pair up with a 2some and i finished the couple I missed afterwards. 2 owners a great and they have awesome customer service. starter is a nice guy too. Not to long of a course and has it open holes but greens make it challenging for their slopes. great course, becoming my go to course.
Great Value, open layout, sloping greens, Great Customer Service

Not to hard on some holes to get to the green but once there, greens can be tough putting due to curvature, great mix of holes that have some challenges but great value for 18. Always kept in great shape also.
Great Combo of Value and Quality
My friends and I discovered Wayland last summer and it's become one our regular spots and preferred twilight course during the week. I was surprised at how well maintained everything was compared to other public courses in the area. Usually I keep my expectations low for the local public ones but this played much better than anticipated. The rough is manageable and the fairways are open. As of late April, the greens are still being prepped for the season and it can get backed up at times with multiple short holes clumped together on the front 9. Also it's a little bit longer of a drive compared to spots closer to Boston, but overall I've always been pleased and recommend it to friends who are new to the area.
Greens in excellent shape!
Played here on patriots day, could not believe how impeccable the greens were. What a value!
There is some paver work going on near the clubhouse that isn't affecting much. This is a regular course in my rotation, it's a great course to score on, and I always enjoy playing here
I plan on coming back
Beautiful Sunday in early March, I was shocked there were so many open tee times as of Saturday night. Showed up a little early, got out a little early.
My twosome got paired up with another twosome, and we played 18 in a little over 4 hours. If anything we were the ones slowing the course down. After 18, we didn't feel like quitting and the guy inside let us keep going at no extra charge.
Nice and flat with just a couple hills - great for walking, although we decided to take a cart for the first 18.
If I were a really good golfer, I probably wouldn't love it here. But I'm not, so for the price and the fact that I should be able to regularly get a score I can respect myself for on this layout, I plan on coming back at some point.
