Madrona Links Golf Course first opened in 1978, and has since become one of the most active clubs in the Puget Sound area. Located in Gig Harbor, the course is conveniently located on the peninsula with easy access to Tacoma Narrows and Highway 16. The layout has a classic links design that is player friendly enough for players of all skill levels. Small, deep bunkers frame both the greens and fairways. Madrona Links requires accuracy, but it's not overly punishing if you're slightly errant. With only gently rolling hills, the golf course is an easy walk. At just over 5,600 yards from the back tees, it's relatively short but you will still face some challenging shots. This popular course is one of the best values in the area.

Great course for those of us who don't drive 300 yards. Wasn't too wet, even with all the rain we've had. Fun to play. Will be back!
Great course
This was my first time playing the course. We had a great time. Good layout with holes that are challenging but still achievable. Great pro shop as well
Great & interesting course... No common sesnse club house clerk!
Course is excellent, always an interesting play...
ONLY concern was that with an unexpected early arrival, ZERO latitude from desk person about possible early start!!?? (45 min)
Times should be respected/followed, BUT very few (perhaps 4) players went out during the wait for "our" time to arrive!
TOTALLY UNNECESSARY & certainly NOT customer friendly!

T time waiting
The only disappointment was that we arrived at the course early and with no one else there they would not let us tee off early. They made us wait till everyone else arrived. The wait time was approximately 40 minutes. But all in all a tee time is a tee time.
Extreme slope
Several holes feature extreme side slope. # 12 is so bad that you risk running the ball OB which runs the whole left side. Greens are inconsistent with a lot of slope which makes it difficult to get and keep the ball near the hole. Don't let the yardage fool you. It may be short, but it's far more challenging than the course and slope rating suggest.
HOT deal!!
17 bucks with a cart can't beat it. Don't go left on #13.
Great course, staff could use help.
We have played this course before and it was great. Yesterday we used a deal on Golfnow. I was told that we were paired with two other people. I haven't been out much this year. I told the lady "oh I was hoping that we would be by ourselves so I don't hold up other golfers". She said well since you have a Golfnow deal you have to go as a foursome and that the course doesn't receive any of the payment that we paid because the course uses the Golfnow app. Alright so that's why she wasn't happy to have us golf at the course.

A good walk
Nice coarse that can be walked. Greens were fun. My only complaint is that there is no marshal, and pace was very poor. I know it's Friday and you want to be out with your buds and drink beer, but speed it up or let people through.

Won't go bach
Drove from Seattle. Had no Idea how long the drive was. Arrived an hour early. didn't want to be late .NO ONE else in the parking lot. We were forced to wait the full hour before we were allowed to tee off. Counter person was rude. Claimed that's the tee time booked with Golf Now was and we would have to wait. No other golfers showed up for approx. 30 min. while we had to wait the full hour till our TEE TIME. Will never go back.
